The Howard County Courthouse

The Howard County Courthouse was built in the 1930's after a fire burned down the original Courthouse. Opened in 1936, it maintains many if its original Art Deco/le style moderne design of the times.

For many years prior to it being built, the square remained empty with only trees and stories of kids having bonfires on the open grounds.
